Articles on: Security and compliance

La plataforma DANAconnect adopts strict measures to protect the reputation of the IP addresses it manages. If an email inbox shows a history of consistent bounces more than 3 times, the platform will block any attempt to reactivate that inbox. This policy is designed to prevent negative impacts on email deliverability and maintain a high level of quality in our clients' communication campaigns.

Purpose:

The goal is to safeguard the reputation of IP addresses by avoiding:

Constant bounces: If an inbox has consistently proven to be an invalid recipient, it is considered a threat to the efficiency of email delivery. A high number of bounces can harm the sender's reputation metrics, affecting the platform's ability to deliver future emails.

Protection of the sender's reputation: Careful management of IP reputation is essential to ensure that emails are correctly delivered to their recipients. Allowing reactivation of problematic inboxes risks this reputation and, consequently, the success of all clients' campaigns.

How this works:

- When an inbox is identified as the source of 3 repeated bounces, it is automatically deactivated, preventing future deliveries.
- If a user attempts to reactivate an inbox with this history, the system will block the automatic reactivation and notify the administrator.

Exceptions and Appeals:

- Clients can submit a case through the support team if they believe an inbox has been incorrectly flagged. However, reactivation will only be carried out if it meets the platform's strict quality and delivery standards.

Importance:

This policy ensures the continuity of an efficient service and the protection of the IP addresses managed by DANAconnect, resulting in better outcomes for all platform users.
